Dog Home Boarding & Day Care

At Home From Home Pet Sitting Halesowen, we pride ourselves on offering 5 ⭐ home boarding - ensuring your pet(s) receive the utmost care and attention. Your dog will enjoy a relaxing home-like environment with plenty of fuss, playtime, and personalised enrichment plan.

We live in a quiet area of Halesowen near a farm for lots of countryside walks. We also live close to lots of nature reserves, including Haden Hill park, Clent, Leasowes and Waseley Hills. Our large garden is secured with a 6ft fence.

Activities & Treats

Your dog will be treated to two delightful walks per day, tailored to their needs and energy levels. We also ensure lots of fun with toys, games, and even basic training exercises. Our goal is to mimic their home environment as closely as possible, making their stay with us a memorable one.

Dietary & Medical Needs

We understand the importance of maintaining your dog's usual diet to avoid any tummy upsets. Please bring their food with them, and we can accommodate specific dietary needs, including weighing food and providing freezer space for raw diets. Rest assured, we pay close attention to any medical needs and administer medications as required. This information is discussed at your meet and greet.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the arrival and departure times for the dog boarding service?

Dogs can be dropped off between 7:30am - 10am, and pick up is between 3:30pm - 7pm.

Other times can be requested by arrangement.

Do you offer any special activities or treats for the dogs during their stay?

Yes, we provide toys, treats, games, and basic training exercises to keep your dog entertained and happy.

We also take them to secure doggy fields so that they can have some off lead fun in a safe and secure environment (summer months).

We tailor their holiday to their individual energetic level and like to give 2 walks per day. If your doggy is senior, the exercise programme will be tailored to their needs.

How do you handle any specific dietary or medical needs for the dogs?

We request that you bring your dog's usual food to avoid tummy upsets. We can weigh food if needed and provide freezer space for raw diets.

We can also administer medications if required - remember to discuss this at your meet and greet, and a medicine administration form will need to be completed.

Where do dogs sleep at night?

Dogs have access to the whole of downstairs and our secure garden. They will be accompanied by Nicki or Adam the majority of the day. However at night, dogs are kept in their own separate rooms.

If your dog is used to sleeping with you in your bed, they may not be comfortable at Home From Home Pet Sitting Halesowen.

What do I need to provide for my dogs holiday?

Some dogs prefer to eat out of their usual bowl and sleep on their bed that smells like their home.

Therefore please bring your dogs food, bowls, bed, and any of their favourite toys and treats to make their stay more comfortable!

How do I book?

Please contact us to check our availability as we get booked up well in advance (especially the summer months). We are taking bookings for 2026.

If we have availability we will arrange a meet & greet at our home so you can meet us in person.

What happens at the Meet & Greet?

Meet & Greets take place in our home and last approx 30 minutes.

Bring your pooch to meet us and they can have a sniff around our home and garden while we discuss the finer details. They will also meet our recently adopted dog Duke.

If you want to book your dates, we require a £10 per day deposit and some paperwork to be filled in. If your dogs stay is longer than 3 days, we will require a 'trial night', to ensure they are settled with us.

Vaccinations

All dogs need to be up to date with their vaccinations and proof of this will be needed prior to their stay. This is to keep all dogs in our care safe from diseases and to comply with Dudley Council's boarding regulations.

We also ask that you regularly flea and worm your dogs so that it covers their stay whilst with us.

We recommend that dogs are vaccinated against Kennel Cough.
